Privacy policy

What we collect

Your account details (name, email, username, optional photo, bio and website); the books you upload and the translations, edits and settings you create; basic usage records (pages translated, assistant messages, exports) that power your plan limits; and, if you connect Google, a token that lets us create documents in your Google Drive when you export.

How we use it

To run Haydari for you: translate and store your books, show your published books and profile to the public, send account emails (confirmation, password reset), process payments through Stripe, and keep the service secure. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

AI processing

To translate, we send the text of the pages you choose to our AI providers through OpenRouter. Your corrections improve translations for your own books; they are not shared with other writers.

Google data

With the Google Docs permission we only create files you export; we can't see your other Drive files. Tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect Google anytime in Settings.

Your choices

Edit your profile anytime, unpublish any book, and delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes your account and the books you own. Readers can browse without an account.

Security

Passwords are hashed, one-time links are single use and stored hashed, and connections are encrypted.
